What You’ll Do

We are looking for a GameMaster to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their escape room experience. Kryptoscape GameMaster's responsibilities include welcoming and checking-in guests, managing reservations, and providing information about booking dates, rates, and event rooms. If you have a knack for customer service and enjoy the hospitality or activity industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable experience for our guests.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks for guests
  • Run escape room experiences by monitoring guests and providing hints on how to solve the puzzles
  • Manage online, chat, and phone reservations
  • Assist customers with bookings and payments
  • Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their activity)
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival
  • Provide information about our escape room experiences, available event rooms, rates, and other amenities
  • Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like corporate or birthday event guests
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate

What We'll Love About You

This is an entry-level role and your resume should demonstrate you have developed the personal and technical skills required to perform. In this role, you'll work in a small, highly customer-focused office environment that's open to the public. While teamwork is essential, you’ll need a strong sense of autonomy as well. Your ability to communicate clearly with customers will be the key to coordinating your great work with our team’s efforts.

Your customer service and personal skills will ensure your success in this role. Our current environment also requires basic knowledge of computers and the internet. Training will be provided for booking and escape room software.

Specifically, we're looking for:

  • Work experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, Customer Service Agent, or similar role
  • Understanding of how escape rooms operate is a bonus but not required
  • A customer service attitude is a must
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

What does it pay:

This position will start at $18+ per hour.
